چکیده

Stellar parameters of 25 planet-hosting stars and abundances Li, C, O, Na, Mg, Al, S, Si, Ca, Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Zn, Y, Zr, Ba, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm Eu, were studied based on homogeneous high resolution spectra uniform techniques. The iron abundance [Fe/H] key elements (Li, Si) indicative the planet formation, as well dependencies [El/Fe] $T_{cond}$, analyzed. determined in our sample with detected massive planets range within -0.3<[Fe/H]<0.4. behaviour [C/Fe], [O/Fe], [Mg/Fe] [Si/Fe] relative to is consistent Galactic Chemical Evolution trends. mean values C/O [C/O] are = 0.48 +/-0.07 <[C/O]>=-0.07 +/-0.07, which slightly lower than solar ones. Mg/Si ratios from 0.83 0.95 for four 1.0 1.86 remaining 21 stars. Various slopes vs. Tcond found. planetary mass metallicity, lithium abundance, ratios, also [El/Fe]-Tcond considered.

The Chemical Compositions of Stars with Planets: A Review

A number of trends among the properties of exoplanets have become evident in the years since the first one was announced in 1995. One particularly interesting trend began to emerge in 1997 – the incidence of giant planets correlates with the metallicity of the host star. This has since been established with a high degree of statistical significance by several research groups. Other, more subtle...

Finding Planets around White Dwarf Remnants of Massive Stars

Planet frequency shows a strong positive correlation with host mass from the hydrogen-burning limit to M = 2M⊙. No search has yet been conducted for planets of higher-mass hosts because all existing techniques are insensitive to these planets. We show that infrared observations of the white-dwarf (WD) remnants of massive stars 3M⊙ <M < 7M⊙ would be sensitive to these planets for reasons that ar...

Limits on Planets Orbiting Massive Stars from Radio Pulsar Timing

\Vhen a,massive star collapses to a neutron star, rapidly losing over half its mass in a symmetric supernova explosion, any planets orbiting the star will be unbound. ]Iowever, to explain the observed space velocity and binary fraction of radio pulsars, an asymmetric kick must be given to the neutron star at birth. Occasionally, this kick will prevent the resulting pulsar-planet system from unb...

The evolution of rotating very massive stars with LMC composition⋆⋆⋆

Context. With growing evidence for the existence of very massive stars at subsolar metallicity, there is an increased need for corresponding stellar evolution models. Aims. We present a dense model grid with a tailored input chemical composition appropriate for the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC). Methods. We use a one-dimensional hydrodynamic stellar evolution code, which accounts for rotation, t...

Chemical Abundances and Yields from Massive Stars

Stellar rotation produces an internal mixing of the elements due to shear instability and meridional circulation. This leads to observable N/C enhancements in massive stars above about 7–9 M⊙. Rotation also favours mass loss by stellar winds. Mass loss effects dominate for masses above 30 M⊙, while mixing dominates below that limit. The effects of mixing are also much larger at lower metallicit...
